Christmas looks like this at our house.

This Nativity was made for me by my mother and given to us for our wedding.

And finally this year I have my angel tree!

Santas

And our Christmas village

And sparkly stuff!

For Jean

I bought this kit about 2 years ago and last week Maddy wanted to try it out.
The kit was Stalagmites.
Izzy face just cracks me up but that wasn't all that made me giggle.
Obscene stalagmites? Who knew?

More Soup!
This one is from www.fortheloveofcooking-recipes.blogspot.com

Roasted Vegetable and Kale Soup

Winterfest (aka coldfest)
Ok there are definitely times when I am a Grinch and this is one of them. I haven't gone the past 2 years, Jas has taken them. I went this year and remembered why I haven't gone. I do not like being cold! The standing in line doesn't bother me so much as the cold toes. I have to get better boots! Anyway the kids had fun, so I guess it was (begrudgingly ) worth it,

The horses were pretty and I have never been on a horse drawn carriage in the snow.
This was the clown that we waited in line for 45- 60 minutes for.
But oh look at the smiles! The ice sculpture was pretty too And I guess it was also tasty? Look at that tounge go!

We have been creating:
Let's see. We have made some foam gingerbread people that I hope to fill all our kitchen window sills with.

And our own version of Kissing Balls

And yummy gingerbread houses. I found a mini gingerbread village at Target. It came with 5 buildings which was perfect because Mom wants in on the action too!
Sammy chose his and made it and ate it right away!

The rest of us chose ours and we were going to put it on the table for decoration for a few days but as of this moment Sara's and mine are the only ones left still standing. That won't be for long either because Sammy is already eying mine!

Next will hopefully be home made lotion bars from www.ordinarylifemagic.blogspot.com if I can find some cocoa butter and then some cookies for gifts.
